About Lydia

Lydia attended Centralia Christian School from Kindergarten-8th grade and was a great help to CCS this past fall! She came back to her alma mater to observe and help in the classrooms and was an amazing role model. We are excited for Lydia as she continues to pursue Christ in character, academics and service.

What are you doing now?

As of right now I am a senior at Centralia High School and a full-time Running Start student at Centralia Community College. By this June, I will be graduating with my high school diploma and my Associates degree. My future plans are to attend Saint Martin’s University next fall to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming an elementary teacher.

What was your favorite memory at CCS?

My favorite memory at CCS was the 8th grade Washington, D.C. trip. Not a lot of schools get the opportunity to travel across the country with their class to learn about our nation’s history. The Washington, D.C. trip was by far one of my most favorite memories.

What is your dream/passion?

Ever since I was in 2nd grade, I've wanted to be a second grade teacher. I've always had a passion and heart for working with younger children. Some of the teachers at CCS actually inspired me to become a teacher, along with some family members of mine because they were elementary teachers too.

Thank you for sharing, Lydia. Your CCS family is cheering you on!
