Welcome to 1st Grade!

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” — Mark 10:14

Dear Parents,

I am excited and honored to be your child’s first-grade teacher this year. First grade is such a special time of growth, discovery, and learning, and I look forward to partnering with you as we guide your child through this important season.

My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels loved, encouraged, and confident as they grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Most importantly, I want each student to know that Jesus loves them deeply and that they are valued and cherished by Him.

Throughout the year, your child will develop strong reading skills through phonics instruction and daily practice. In Math, students will build a solid foundation as they explore new concepts and problem-solving strategies. We will also discover many exciting topics through science, social studies, and other engaging learning experiences.

I am committed to working alongside you to provide the support, encouragement, and tools your child needs to thrive. Together, we can help them grow in knowledge, character, and faith as they continue on their journey toward success.

In Christ,

Miss Anna Kesting
