SPORTS OVERVIEW — At Centralia Christian School, we offer an excellent program for athletics and activities. We are very proud of our student participants and coaches and advisors, and we appreciate the positive contributions they make to our school.
In keeping with the Centralia Christian School philosophy, we encourage students, regardless of their skill level, to participate in a wide variety of activities. The athletics programs offer an opportunity to grow physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Our school athletics/activities foster a spirit of cooperation and teamwork. They provide an opportunity for students to work with caring Christian adults, build a sense of self-worth and learn Christian sportsmanship.
Centralia Christian School is a member of and complies with the eligibility rules of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).
In addition, Centralia Christian School is a member of the South Sound league along with other participating schools, including, Aberdeen, Bush (Tumwater), Centralia, Chehalis, Elma, Hoquiam, Montesano and Tumwater.

THE NO CUT POLICY — In keeping with a middle school philosophy, interscholastic sports are considered an opportunity for young athletes to explore, learn new skills and grow. Because early adolescents mature at vastly different rates, today’s physically small athletes may become a reservoir of untapped talent. With this in mind, every effort is made to accommodate all 7th and 8th graders who turn out for sports regardless of skill level. During competition, all members of the team are given a chance to participate, a philosophy supported by the Tri-County League.
Centralia Christian School offers the following sports:
League: Tri-County (WIAA affiliated)
Mascot: Lion
Colors: Navy blue and silver
